On the night before his father's funeral, a successful businessman checks into a hotel on the south coast.That night he sees a ghost, a woman who died in the Black Death and has been in limbo for 650 years, unable to leave her burial ground where the hotel now stands. Lonely, unseen, unheard, longing for human contact, she wanders the corridors in silence.During the long night they spend together, they tell each other their stories, and the businessman learns that, if he will only tell the truth in his funeral oration, the woman will be redeemed.
