Serving under the flamboyant Captain Terri Dennis, he discovers it takes more than just a uniform to become a man. Playing the cross-dressing Captain Dennis whose performances of Marlene Dietrich, Vera Lynn and Carmen Miranda form the centrepiece of the comedy, multi Olivier Award-winner Beale is a regular on the London stage, appearing most recently in Timon Of Athens and Collaborators at the National Theatre 4.3
