This is a difficult play--no matter what, when you get to a husband starving and depriving his wife of sleep to tame her, it's a bit icky. I loved this production. The broadness of Katherina's shrewishness was balanced by the insane performance by Simon Paisley Day as Petruccho. It was bawdy, funny, and very entertaining.
